1. High Class Site: Valencia Hyatt Regency offers the high quality of Hyatt Regency with free parking for all attendees. It is located at 24500 Town Center Dr., Valencia, CA 91355 (reserve room here). 2. All Championship Sections: All Championship sections have been renamed as Open section. This is just a change of terminology and does not change anything else. 3. K-9 Open Section: 6-8 Open section have been renamed K-9 Open section to accomodate Middle Schools that go through 9th grade. 4. Barber Qualifier: Highest placed K-8 student in K-9 Open section will represent SCCF in 2012 Dewain Barber Tournament of K-8 State Champions. We will use USCF tiebreaks in case of a tie. 5. Kindergarten & K-3 Reserve Sections: These sections may not require USCF Membership this year. We are waiting for confirmation of this exemption. 6. Rating Supplement used: All sections will use the March 2012 supplement for ratings. 7. Club Trophies: Top Clubs get trophies in K-9 and K-12 section. 8. Trophies: Trophies to all players in top 10 (winning record required) in each section except all players in K-1 section will get a trophy.
